KHAMSA x KHMEISA

Our summer collection is here inspired by the Egyptian artist Hassan El Sharq, documenting Egyptian heritage through folklore from his village in Upper Egypt depicting many scenes and symbols including El Shater Hasan and Set El Hussen, Khamsa x Khemisa protecting from the evil eye and other mystical stories from the past. We are reviving the heritage by providing modern and functional designs for casual footwear.

The collection uses multiple handicrafts elements, including Saint Catherine hand-embroidery with beads, hand-woven cotton fabric from Akhmim, Sohag, hand-braided leather by women artisans from Shalateen, all designs and production is done in our workshop/studio in Cairo.
