Handmade out of Alaga fabric from Upper Egypt, hand-embroidered in Sinai, put together and designed by us in Cairo, giving you a 1-inch heel and complete camel leather outsole, giving you slight height and comfort. Inspired by Hassan El Sharq paintings from Upper Egypt. Available sizes 36-42, bigger sizes by customization by order.

We pick them up through delivery or you can drop them off at our locations and we will fix and return. You will pay shipping fee only one time.

The influx of fast fashion in the market is pushing more traditional shoe workshops to close, forcing master artisans in this craft to switch careers.
We aim to revive this sector of traditional footwear workshops in historic Cairo by using the oldest techniques in shoe-making to make vibrant, modern slippers that still hold the spirit of Egyptian heritage with an edge.
Through adopting slow-fashion principles, we hope to make an impact in the industry one Bulga at a time, while providing jobs to women and marginalized artisans all over Egypt.
