Handmade out of 100% natural sheep wool from Fuwa, Kafr ElSheikh, in Egypt's Delta, with camel leather sole. For indoors only, it can be washed in machine on wool settings on cold. It will be available in Beige, Grey, and Brown. Handwoven wool on semi-mechanical loom, then cut and manufactured by us in our workshop with hand-stitched finish. Available in slippers or closed back shoes.

We pick them up through delivery or you can drop them off at our locations and we will fix and return. You will pay shipping fee only one time.

The influx of fast fashion in the market is pushing more traditional shoe workshops to close, forcing master artisans in this craft to switch careers.
We aim to revive this sector of traditional footwear workshops in historic Cairo by using the oldest techniques in shoe-making to make vibrant, modern slippers that still hold the spirit of Egyptian heritage with an edge.
Through adopting slow-fashion principles, we hope to make an impact in the industry one Bulga at a time, while providing jobs to women and marginalized artisans all over Egypt.
